Editorial Principles and Selection

StackingBirdies is a curated golf instruction hub. The work is not making videos. The work is finding the ones already made by the best coaches on YouTube and putting them in the categories where amateur golfers are actually losing shots. Fifteen categories. Every video selected by hand.

There is no paywall. Nothing on the site is original instruction. Every video is the work of a coach with a YouTube channel, credited by name on the page where it appears. The categories are chosen by what costs amateur golfers shots: ball striking, putting, the slice, the short game. Not by what the equipment industry wants attention on this season.

The criteria are simple. The technique has to be sound. The explanation has to be clear and not buried in filler. The audio has to be listenable. The framing has to show the swing. And the coach has to have a track record that holds up to a casual web search. Anything that fails any of these is cut, no matter how high the view count.

Suggestions are welcome. If a coach belongs on the site, or a video should sit in a category where it doesn't yet, send a note to stackingbirdies.contact@gmail.com. Brief is fine.

New videos go up weekly. Categories get refined as the library grows and as patterns in what amateur golfers ask for emerge.

Run by Kris Groulx, a Canadian golfer. Solo project. No staff, no marketing budget. Built from the same instinct as anyone who has spent a winter trying to fix the same flaw: most of the answers are already on YouTube; the hard part is finding them in order.

StackingBirdies is supported by display advertising. Any affiliate links added in the future will be disclosed in context where they appear. Advertising and affiliate considerations do not influence which coaches or videos appear in any category. The selection rule comes first.
